    Psalm 34

Oh magnify the Lord with Me…  I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1-3 NASB Happy Friday! May He fill your cup to overflowing today!

    Happy Coffee Day!

Debbie Taylor is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to MommiesCoffee.com. Yay! Happy Coffee Day! lol. Frankly, I don’t need a special date on the calendar to celebrate coffee, but I will definitely take the time to celebrate it today! I do love coffee. I love coffee hot, iced, frozen. I love coffee flavored baked goods or desserts. Coffee ice cream. Coffee candy. I use my Keurig almost daily. It is rare that I don’t have 1 cup of coffee a day from my Keurig! But my favorite…

    Do You Bible Journal?

I am not the greatest artist. My drawing skills are generally limited to stick figures and childlike landscapes. My brother, Dan, is very artistic. My daughter, Claira is very artistic. Their drawings are beautifully done – abstract, landscape, shadowing, etc. I know my limitations, and although I can sketch a bit better now than when I first tried, I have found a groove in Bible Journaling. It helps that there are beautiful artists who share their Bible Journal templates, sketches and images that I can trace or attach to my Bible and color in. I’m a pretty good colored pencil user. lol Whether or not you can draw more than…

    Finding Your Footing

Have you ever gotten knocked off your feet in a pond, river, or lake? Have you ever stumbled around in swift currents, or on hard rocks – trying to get your feet set back solid beneath you? I have. Even though I know how to swim, outside of a pool, I feel way more unsure of myself when my feet no longer touch the bottom because I can’t see the bottom. Yeah – life has been like that for me for awhile now. 2020 has been a humdinger, hasn’t it? When my dad died in January, it had a HUGE impact on me – but because I am a mom,…

    What is Normal?

This whole COVID thing has turned the world upside down. It seems to have uncovered some of the worst traits in humanity. Or at least that’s what the news I have seen has focused on. GOOD things have come about, too. I would say within my own home, that is true. We have had much more focused time together, and I have had quality time with each member of my family. I did NOT miss the rat race of ball practice or games from the spring or summer. I am sad kids didn’t get to play their sports, but they will again. My 3 kids are in school today. It…

    Filling Your Cup

So I recently had a little health scare that meant I had to STOP drinking coffee. For several days. Recommended: Permanently. Obviously, by the name of my website, coffee is kind of a THING for me. It was not pleasant. Coffee is one of those “ME” things. It’s my jam, if you will. For a few days, it was physically painful to eliminate coffee from my body. But for better health, it was needed. I ended up drinking more water instead. This blog is about seeking a life that leads to a BETTER ME. Whatever role you play – whether it includes “MOMMY” or not, better health – be it…
